You are doing such smart and clever work that meshes the analytic and the creative, in order to create something new. On the one hand you have built the project from thorough and discerning research – the concern you have identified is clear. On the other hand (in the future we will be less binary and have many hands and many metaphors for agonistics), as you conclude don’t feel you need to smooth things over. I say this because you are create something new, allow us to register the ambition and experimentation of that. Strangely that will also make it easier to understand, give people the headspace to register the originality of what you are doing. Finally, it feels like you are proposing 1) a methodology of data expression 2) what a ‘meeting’ consists of and how it is recognised formally within organisations (Denise in the café), and how that might be registered in some way. That such things might exist without having their value extracted, reformed and codified by the languages of the institution. And remember to have some fun, it will make it even better!
